Risa Stone Cottage is located in a beautiful but little-known part of Corfu, nestled in an olive grove, in a peaceful corner, near the small green-clad mountain village of Vatos.

It is built in 4 stremmas of land and located 14 km west of Corfu town and about 3 km from Myrtiotissa nudist beach, Glyfada and Ermones beaches.
Vatos Village

15 km west of Corfu Town you will find Vatos. A small traditional village nestled into the hillside of Ayios Giorgis, with a magnificent view to the Ropa valley. It covers an area of 7,000 stremmas and has 500 inhabitants, who are simple and warm people occupied mostly with the cultivation of the land.

Vatos is a place where the directness and gentleness of the traditional old Corfiot can be found.

Risa Stone Cottage is a maisonette style freestanding villa ideal for lazy nature lovers, families and escapers.

It consists of:

Built in a special spot and in a land of about 4.000 sq.m., offers an incredible view of the horizon, where the sky, the mountains and the olive trees mingle together....

The ground floor consists of an open plan area, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sitting area with a fireplace and a separated WC with lavabo.

Upper Floor

An internal wooden stair leads to the upper floor, which consists of:

    * one bedroom with a large bed and a small sitting corner with original Corfiot handmade furniture
    * a second bedroom with a large bed and a sofa - which can be converted to two singles or one double bed
    * a large bathroom with view and
    * a small store room

Both bedrooms have large windows with an amazing view to the Ropa Valley!!!

Gardens  with flowers and seasonal naturally grown vegetables and fruits for the guests to consume and, why not, cultivate if they wish.

According to the Greek National Tourism Organisation, here is our cancellation policy:

    * Cancellations prior to 21 days before arrival are free of charge. ( we refund the deposit, minus any bank transaction fees)
    * For cancellations after 20 days before arrival amount equal to 30% of the total reservation cost is required.
    * For cancellations at the day of check-in (no-shows) amount equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is required.
    * Early departure penalty is equal to 50% of the remaining stay.
