Property location & Area description

Moraitika is situated on a coastal plain on the east coast of Corfu and has a backdrop of olive grove covered hills. Moraitika is just 20km from the capital Corfu town (Kerkyra) and the airport.

Moraitika has grown a great deal over the years and is now a very developed resort that is tending to merge with the Messonghi resort on the other side of the river Messonghi, which forms the border between the two. The original village of Ano Moraitika still exists on the hill above but is now dwarfed by the largely purpose-built Moraitika holiday resort that runs along either side of the coast road. Moraitika village is based around this main strip which has plenty of bars, tavernas and restaurants, many offering British options alongside Greek favourites. There are plenty of lively clubs and discos open until late but the resort is not as wild as the youth resort of Kavos.

Moraitika appeals to a cosmopolitan mix of families, younger couples and those wanting plenty of lively entertainment, plentiful budget to mid-range accommodation and a sandy beach close to Corfu town.

Moraitika beach – Sandy safe and shallow Moraitika holiday resort is just a few hundred metres above the beach, which is a little quieter. Moraitika beach is a popular, long mixture of sand and shingle with warm, shallow water for safe bathing and swimming for children.

In Moraitika you can make use of a diving centre and other water sport facilities and enjoy boat trips and go-carting.

Romantica is a family run business with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere located in Moraitica village. Situated on the South East coast in Corfu, approximately 30 minutes from the airport and historic Corfu town.

Its comfortable studios and apartments offer ideal accommodation for both families and people of all ages. You will always receive a warm welcome at the pool bar where various activities take place nightly and by day you can relax by the pool where there is a snack bar serving homemade snacks all day.

Deposit & Cancellation policy

Deposit 30%.

According to the Greek National Tourism Organisation, here is our cancellation policy:

    * Cancellations prior to 21 days before arrival are free of charge. ( we refund the deposit, minus any bank transaction fees)
    * For cancellations after 20 days before arrival amount equal to 30% of the total reservation cost is required.
    * For cancellations at the day of check-in (no-shows) amount equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is required.
    * Early departure penalty is equal to 50% of the remaining stay.
